Awesome news for book and ebook lovers because we can now have an amazing digital library and bookshelf of our own whenever wherever with the new Google eBooks. We can now download free ebooks and read them online and offline.
Google eBooks was more spectacular than the fireworks of the New Year. This is another breakthrough from Google opening the year 2011. The launching of Google eBooks last December 6, 2010 has brought lots of cheers to many and I’m one of them. I’m still smiling until now lol Why not! This is one freaking cool idea from google. You can now chillax and save your time from arranging your favorite books in your shelf, avoid the hassle of recalling wherever you put down that damn book and saving your energy from going to that bookstore or online bookstore just to buy the latest NY bestseller. Because having one Google eBooks account means having all the pleasure of unlimited access to your own digital library without having a sweat to sort all books according to your tastes. Now, I’m thinking…libraries may be obsolete soon.
Another cool thing about google ebooks is that you can access your ebook library anywhere and go to that page where you have left off. One click to your google account and you’re into your ebooks library. Obviously, you don’t have to bring with you Sylvia Plath or LJ Smith or Becca Fitzpatrick in a trip to Europe. Save your luggage from your fave books. All you need is your ipad, ipod touch, iphone, Nook, Android, laptop or any ereader gadget and bam, all your ebooks appear! You can also read your ebooks offline by syncing to your gadgets and transferring the ebooks onto your other devices. By the way, google ebooks doesn’t work with Kindle yet. Well at least not as this moment. Amazon’s Kindle is their rival.
Google eBooks is a great help for students who want easy access and free downloads of millions of articles and essays. Literature textbooks are also amongst the free ebooks. With the google ebooks web, it’s one huge library because you’ve got unlimited storage of ebooks. Wow!
Before I forget, Google eBooks’ ebookstore online is in the meantime only available in the United States. You know how Google works. Eventually, all countries could completely use this amazing ebookstore online. But anyone anywhere can download all their free ebooks though. Just download the free ones for a while. :)
To make everything clear, here’s a video from google ebooks brought to us of course by Google. Just don’t mind the colorful hardcovers…lol
Yeah I’ve mentioned earlier that anyone can download ebooks for free from Google eBooks. Just go tohttp://books.google.com/ebooksand you can downlooad the free ebooks you want. They’ve got over three million ebooks available to either download or purchase. All you have to do is go to google ebooks website and choose over the millions of books you want and store in your own library. You can search the books that you want and download them with your ereader gadget. To do that, you have to sign in to your google account. How to sell your book in Google eBooks?
Heard some queries about how to sell a book in Google eBooks. Google has partnered with lots of publishers. They’re still growing in numbers. And if your publishing company are linked with these book sellers, your book will be automatically in google ebooks. If you’re an independent publishers and wants to sell your book in the Google ebookstore, you can by contacting their service support. At this moment, that area / feature is not yet displayed in their website as Google eBooks has just been launched last month, December 2010. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted with that matter.
