Google +: the new Google social network - Earn Invitations pro + G

After the failure of the Wave and Buzz, and little use of Orkut in the world (where only Brazil and India stand out), Google is betting on a new social network: Google +.
Google plusBefore presenting the resources, know that it is in closed beta, by invitation only. Along with the network there are some changes in the search engine as well, like new color on the top bar .
The new social network tries to make the entire user base of Google, being a mixture of all its services with a different social part. The +1 will also be part of the system with their recommendations.
+ The project is based on Googlerank friends in circles, just like in real life. Easier than using separate groups or privacy settings Orkut or Facebook. What do you talk with your friends is not the same as talking with family, which in turn, are things that your boss would never know offline. + Google tries to take it to the web. Rumors were already talking about the previous "Circles". While this is not the official name of the network, will be one of their bases.
Sparks in the user will receive recommendations for web content (something that Google understands, or at least thinks that he understands ). It will be easy to expand the conversation with friends through the topics presented, with additional material presented, coming from the web. It remains to see how it will be in practice, but the video below gives some ideas:
Apparently it handles interests, things that people enjoy, fulfilling in part the need of the communities in Orkut.
The hangouts comes to video conversations with several people:
The Huddle is to talk in group, and some characteristics of schedules or project management. Useful for groups that usually do something together.
Mobile: Integration with Android is not lacking. Features location and uploading photos are quite practical. Perhaps in response to iCloud , which will load the pictures automatically to the cloud, Instant upload to Google + will almost, but with a touch more social:
The app for the Android Market can be caught , but of course it will not work for those who do not have access yet.
The invitation can be requested from the service page, whose URL could not be simpler:
http://www.google.com/+
Success or failure? Only time will tell. The Wave and Buzz have caused a great "buzz", and are now there, a dropped and the other barely speaks. After the expectations and disappointments with the Wave and Buzz, it's hard to believe in something that can revolutionize the Google bid on a social network. Not Orkut group cares right, taking to correct chronic problems ...
Speaking on Orkut, a statement about it was posted on the website:
Orkut users, Google will continue to work on enhancements and features for both Orkut and Google + for the project, as both are very important for users.
We believe the web will become increasingly social. As Orkut is the number one social network in Brazil and has been very successful, our goal is to extend the new features for Google + Orkut users as they become available.
How will it be in practice? Who already has Orkut + Google does not need, having the features built into it? There will be two logical lists of social networks with different friends, but some common ... Again, only time will tell how it will look like.

Best gaming mice 2011

Best Gaming Mice

Comfort, design and precision. The holy trinity of gaming mice. But if you ask me, there's one factor missing -- yes -- price. Despite the relatively low price tag even the best gaming miceoffer nowadays, buying the right one is still a high profile decision. For most people, forgoing a gaming mouse in favor of a couple of gigs of quality RAM may be money better spend, but for those who are looking to favorably tweak their gaming performance and give carpal tunnels a rest buying a quality mouse is the epitomy of awesomeness.
This article is geared towards the general public, and so I've tried to be succinct in the details of how these mice are measured up. I will do my best to pinpoint what qualities and comparative advantages each model offers as we go down the list.

The Razer Deathadder 3500

best gaming mouse
The Deathadder 3500, as the name implies, is the older brother of the Deathadder 1800, with an identical design but with almost double its DPIcount.
Right off the bat what strikes both reviewers and myself is the sleekright-handed ergonomic design. But is it all fluff? Aside from the promise of hours of intense gaming without 10 second hand exercises every minute, as with many Razer products the design is stunning to look at. I do have a light problem with the pulsing logo (I'd prefer it if it was fixed -- especially in the dark), but hey, that might be a personal quirk. Let's have a look at some of it's other highlights:
  • 1ms response time (1000Hz Ultrapolling).
  • 3.5g infrared sensor (almost four times more precise than a regular 800 DPI mouse!).
  • 7 meter fibre cable (again, wired mice are by definition more reactive and 7 metres of cable should be enough).
  • USB connector is gold-plated (oh, yes).
  • The ability to adjust sensitivity on-the-fly.
  • Non-slip surface and independently programmable buttons.
The price of this model has also come down quite a bit recently (over 30%) making the Razer Deathadder 3500 a fail-safe solution to all your gaming needs. Me want.
Recommended for: Large-medium hands.

Logitech G500

The addition of a 27 gram weight-cage makes switching between gaming genres very easy indeed. The extra load can single-handedly improve precision in FPS games, whereas a lighter configuration will ease screen-wide arcs.
But this is certainly not the only thing that makes the G500 a top-quality mouse in terms of precision, with a stunning tracking resolution of up to5700 DPI and an acceleration of 30g (double the Deathadder!). Here's a more succinct list of what you're in for:
  • On-the-fly adjustable DPI.
  • 10 programmable buttons.
  • Hyper-fast scrolling wheel (dual mode).
  • Intelligent and powerful on-board memory which can save and load customized settings.
  • USB sleep mode disabled (always on).
  • High-quality gaming laser.
I'm not a huge fan of the design itself, but beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder.
Recommended for: Small-medium sized hands.

Razer Naga MMOG

best gaming mouse
The Razer Naga is geared towards MMO players rather than FPS players, and offers a truck-load of addons with that in mind. This would obviously (beyond the clunky, retro look) be a poor choice for FPS players who would undoubtedly prefer a weighted and more trimmed solution.
What makes the Naga an MMO player's dream?
  • 17 optimized buttons, yes, 17!
  • Custom interface addons for in-game ease of use.
  • Up to 5600 DPI.
  • Button placement may have a learning curve, but with a little practice keybind and macro like never before.
  • 1 ms response rate.
  • A unique look (I'll let you decide). Some reviews claim the mouse itself became comfortably with repeated use, and not on arrival. It may take some getting used to.
The main focus of the Naga is undoubtedly it's 12 button pad (right). My take is that switching to the Naga may make keybinding and macroing easier -- but it's a mid to long-term solution. The buttons, while well placed are undoubtedly small, and clicking some of them will require some fancy hand-work. Nevertheless, once you've got it down on instinct you will have an enviable comparative advantage.

Here is a current list of the top 10 best selling ebooks on the market today.

A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard

#1 best selling ebook
A Stolen Life is the title of the memoirs of Jaycee Dugard who you may have read about on the news. Jaycee was the little girl kidnapped and detained against her will for an incredible 18 years, during which time she became a sex slave for perverted Phillip Garrido and his equally perverted wife.
Just 11 years old at the time of her abduction, read how Jaycee survived by remembering the good times with her Mom and you can't help but admire the depth of inner strength that this girl/young woman showed and continues to show today.
Released from her urban Hell in 2009 (she was detained a back garden shed for all those years and neighbors noticed nothing), she now has a new life to rebuild with her two daughters (born from her forced sexual entrapment to Phillip Garrido).
Parts of the proceeds of this books will be directed to the J A Y C Foundation, set up by Jaycee, so offer support to victims of abduction.

A Dance With Dragons by George R R Martin

#2 best selling ebook
A Dance With Dragons is the 5th book in the series, A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R R Martin.
Set in an "other world", A Song of Ice and Fire is an epic classic up there with J R Tolkein's "Lord of The Rings", and follows the fortunes and wars of the Seven Kingdoms. A mix of the historical with kings and queens and fights to the death amid old castle walls with the magical and unreal, A Song of Fire and Ice has captured the public imagination.
The complete series up to date includes books 1 to 5. The full series is planned to stretch to seven books, but two are as yet unwritten.

The Help, by Kathryn Stockett

#3 best selling ebook
Set in Mississippi in the 1960s, The Help is a wonderfully told story about a young white women who decides to write a book about the treatment meted out to the black women who were often hired as Home Helps to rich white women.
At a time just before the Civil Rights Movement came into being, Kathryn Stockett has brought this book alive with real life characters and a factual historical setting. Gripping from page 1, The Help is a marvellous book that will keep you turning the pages (theoretically of course, seeing this is the ebook version), wanting to know what happens next.
Now being turned into a major Hollywood movie, read the book now.

The Help - Official Trailer

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

#4 best selling ebook
Aimed primarily at teenagers/young adults, The Hunger Games is the first in a trilogy of books about a futuristic America (now re-named Panem) in which televised reality shows have taken a step too far.
Now two young teenagers from each of the 12 regions of Panem must fight to the death in front of the whole nation who by Law must watch the program.
Our heroine is 16 year old Katness Everdeen is steps in to take the place of her younger sister who was initially chosen to take part in the Hunger Games.
Not to be missed. Might be aimed at teenagers, but this trilogy suits all ages. Excellently written by Suzanne Collins.

Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo

#5 best selling ebook
Heaven is for Real is the amazing and heart-warming story of a little boy who "died" on the operating table for a short period of time.
Told by his father, Todd Burpo, a Nebraska pastor, it describes how young Colton amazed his family by telling them about his experiences while dead, from floating over the operating table to meeting God In Heaven.
He described meeting his grandfather, who had died years before Colton was even born, and describing him in sufficient details for his parents to be almost awestruck, because this little boy could not have known those things.
He also told his parents about meeting his sister, who had been stillborn and of whom Colton had known nothing.
Heaven is for real is inspirational and comforting to those who have recently lost loved ones, as it gives hope to an eternal meeting with those we have lost.

Go The F**k to Sleep by Adam Mansbach

#6 best selling ebook
Go The F**k To Sleep is a light-hearted look at something every parent faces or must have faced at some point in their lives. What to do when your child refuses to go to sleep.
Some children devise some pretty incredible excuses as to why they should stay up, and this book explores them in such a way that will have you grinning from ear to ear.
Never again will bedtimes be a battleground, as you will be laughing thinking about the scenarios in this excellent book by Adam Mansbach.
A fun read - but only for parents. Guaranteed not to be understood by parents to be, as you really have to have been there and experienced this to relate closely to Go The Fk to Sleep.

The Big 5-OH! by Sandra D Bricker

#7 best selling ebook
The Big 5-OH! is a laugh out loud summer fun read that will hook you in from page 1. A first novel by Sandra D Bricker, she introduces us to Olivia Wallace, who dreads her fast approaching 50th birthday.
All her life, as far back as she can remember, she has suffered calamities on her birthday. On her 16th, she had her first broken heart, on her 21st she was involved in a car accident, and so on down the line. Each year was some new disaster and very few of her birthdays had passed without some major bad event.
On her 48th birthday she had been told be had ovarian cancer, and now almost 2 years later she was cancer-free, after having gone through chemotherapy.
He hair has just grown back, she is starting to feel attractive again, but what great calamity awaits her?
A superb book and an excellent first novel. No doubt we will be hearing more from Sandra D Bicker.

Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich

#8 best selling ebook
In this latest Stephanie Plum offering by Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum, New Jersey bounty hunter, finds herself involved in a case involving bodies showing up on a disused building allotment.
But its Stephanie's private life that has shocked readers in this 17th Stephanie Plum novel.
She's had on off relationships with both ranger and Joe over the years, but n this book she sleeps with both men (though at different times). Many readers feel that the character of Stephanie Plum has not grown, and has in fact regressed.
That said, it would seem that Smokin' Seventeen is a significant improvement over Janet Evanovich's last two novels.

Before I Go to Sleep by S.J.Watson

#9 best selling ebook
Before I Go to Sleep by S.J.Watsonhas a deeply disturbing concept that will certainly make you think.
In this book, a middle-aged woman wakes up every day with no recollection of the final 20 odd years of her life.
Thanks to a head injury years before, she suffers from a weird type of memory loss that kicks in every time she goes to sleep.
So she wakes up next to her husband, having no idea who he is, or what she is doing. Even her own facial reflection frightens her as she does not recognise herself, except for the eyes.
She has been keeping a diary, on which she has scrawled "Don't trust Ben". Ben is the name of her husband.
Read on as she tries to find out why she wrote this, and when, with the added handicap of having to start each day afresh with no memory from the day before.
Invariably described as "unputdownable", Before I Go to Sleep will draw you in and keep you gasping for more.
An excellent first novel by author S.J. Watson.

Eyes Wide Open by Andrew Gross

#10 best selling ebook
Eyes Wide Open is a thriller that is chock full of suspense and cliff-hangers that will draw you in and keep to reading right through to its terrifying conclusion.
Andrew Gross, author of three previous best selling books The Blue ZoneDon't Look Twice and The Dark Tide on his own, plus co-author of 5 best selling James Patterson books, does not disappoint with his latest offering, which is a page turner than will draw you in and carry you along.

How to sell your book in Google eBooks?
Heard some queries about how to sell a book in Google eBooks. Google has partnered with lots of publishers. They’re still growing in numbers. And if your publishing company are linked with these book sellers, your book will be automatically in google ebooks. If you’re an independent publishers and wants to sell your book in the Google ebookstore, you can by contacting their service support.
